Dear Patients,
Please read prior to booking an appointment: On July 29, 2021 the College of Massage Therapy of British Columbia (CMTBC) and the BC Provincial Health Officer have updated COVID 19 protocols based on BC entering Step 3 of BC’s Restart Plan.
The following actions are required to be followed in order to receive services at Embody Massage Therapy Clinic.
No patient should enter the clinic if they show signs of communicable disease; they should be tested for COVID 19. They are to contact public health at 8-1-1 and arrange to be tested.
Patients will be asked to continue hand washing/sanitizing upon arrival.
Patients options regarding the use of personal protective equipment, including masks.
Embody will have masks available for patient and therapists use if a patient requires/requests a mask be used
during treatment.
The therapist may require a patient to wear a mask in the treatment room, and may refuse to treat a patient
who refuses to wear a mask provided that this is communicated to the patient in advance of the appointment.
Public health authorities recommend the use of masks in public indoor settings for individuals 12+ who are not fully vaccinated.
